World Deliverance Christian Center and Bellwood Mayor Andre Harvey sponsored the Cross of Christ Parade and Health Fair on Friday, April 15.
The parade stretched west from Butterfield Road and Bohland Avenue to Bellwood Avenue, south on Bellwood Avenue to Washington Boulevard, east on Washington Boulevard to 25th Avenue and into the lot of the former Walgreens at 540 25th Ave. in Bellwood.
Free food bags, easter baskets, health screenings, blood pressure screenings and COVID-19 vaccines and testing were administered during the Good Friday event.
