Maywood Woman Fatally Shot, Dies March 27

A Maywood woman has died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

Yolanda Vargas, 45, was shot on the 300 block of South 2nd Ave. in Maywood, according to the medical examiner. She was pronounced dead at 10:39 p.m. on March 27, according to the examiner’s daily ledger released March 28.
